Molibobo GEO is a Shopify app that helps merchants generate AI-readable store files, product and page AI metadata, crawler rules, and related AI search signals. To provide the app, we process the following merchant store data:

• Shop domain, app session data, and Shopify access tokens.
• Product, page, collection, and translation data that the merchant allows the app to read from Shopify.
• App settings, crawler rules, cache settings, onboarding state, and selected AI provider settings.
• Encrypted AI provider API keys when a merchant chooses to save one inside the app.
• Generated llms.txt content, AI metadata, AI credit usage records, and bulk generation job status.
• AI crawler access logs, including bot name, user agent, access time, requested file type, and a hashed IP address.

The app does not intentionally collect or store buyer customer personal data such as customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, payment details, or order history.

We use merchant store data only to operate the app, including:

• Authenticating the merchant and maintaining Shopify sessions.
• Reading Shopify content to generate llms.txt, llms-full.txt, GEO metadata, and structured data.
• Saving merchant settings and generated AI metadata back to Shopify when the merchant requests it.
• Tracking included monthly AI credits and preventing usage beyond the selected plan allowance.
• Showing crawler analytics and keeping generated files up to date.
• Providing support, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention.

We do not sell merchant or customer data.

If a merchant enables AI generation and enters an OpenAI or Anthropic API key, selected product or page content may be sent to that provider to generate descriptions or metadata. The merchant controls whether AI generation is enabled and which provider key is used. Third-party AI providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

We keep app data for as long as needed to provide the service or until the merchant uninstalls the app, requests deletion, or Shopify sends a mandatory privacy webhook. When the app receives an app uninstall or shop deletion webhook, it deletes shop-specific app settings, cached generated content, crawler logs, bulk job records, AI credit usage, AI credit events, and app sessions from the app database.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Saved AI provider API keys are stored encrypted. Production data is stored in Cloudflare D1, and access is limited to operating, maintaining, and supporting the app.

Merchants may request access, correction, or deletion of app data by contacting us. We also respond to Shopify privacy compliance webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction requests, and shop redaction requests.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest update.
